AGRO PROCESSING AND MARKET DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (AGROTRADE)
Agrotrade is an entity under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) in charge of state governance and legislation implementation with regards to market development of agriculture, fishery and forestry sectors, managing activities of market development as well as the focal point of managing on processing and storage of agriculture, fishery and forestry.
Major functions of Agrotrade is as follows:
- In charge of policies and regimes for processing, storage and support to post-harvest; instruction and checking upon implementation and reports.
- In charge of policy, measures and programs, projects.
- In charge of policies, regimes and measures for developing export agricultural markets. And updating and provide information for companies and producers on policies for agricultural markets, technical barriers upon export-import of agricultural products.
- Implement programs and policies for trade promotion, cooperating with Ministry of Industry and Trade for joining the national trade promotion programs, national branding programs.
- Implement international cooperation and integration and other international projects and programs.
